Reading Goals for 2019

I got this idea from the lovely Sarah and I just wanted to tell all of you my goals for the next year.

Read 100 books

This year I read a total of 66 books so far in 2018. I had a late start with April being the first month I actually got down to business with writing a book blog and reading as much as I could. I’m very proud I was able to read so many books that I want to push my self to see how much more I can discover.

Finish more series

I want to finish the Throne of Glass series definitely and An Ember in the Ashes. I also want to read more dragon books if I can find them. I also want to try to improve on my reviews more and become more predominant in the reviewer industry.

Attend Bookcon

I successfully snagged a VIP ticket for Bookcon in 2019 and I could not be more excited for the amount of books I will be scoring. So many in fact that I plan to bring a suitcase both days.

Relax

This year was a huge year for me with new everything. Therefore, for 2019 I want to just relax and read some books, maybe go to some concerts. I want to get a new car so that would be a cool goal but honestly I just want to relax in my new job and chill at home.

So, that will be it for my 2019 goals, guys. I hope to see you all there with me.

  1. Wow what a great idea!! Do you read physical books or use kindle? I found I get through a lot more books since adding audiobooks to my phone for when I drive but that isn’t always considered “reading” in the traditional sense by some. Just curious about your process!

    1. I usually have one kindle book going that I will read when waiting at appts or on break. I used to read a lot on kindle but now I have so much free time I prefer to read the physical books I have on hand. Unfortunately I’m not a big audiobook person lol but I totes respect it as a form of reading. It’s the only way my dad reads books at all!
