[Unboxing] February Owlcrate

Now presenting: The February Owlcrate box!
Theme
: Whimsical Beasts
Rating: 6 out of 5 stars

You see that rating? Six out of five stars. The box I am showing you today exceeds all expectations every time but this time was especially amazing.

Owlcrate is a monthly subscriptions box that runs for around $35 a month. Each month is a different theme and comes with a signed hardcover in every box. This month’s box was very unique but did have a solid theme. You will always get your money’s worth in my opinion it’s just a matter of what tastes you have. Now, on to the unboxing!

First up we have the only item I didn’t really like in this box. The Pixie Dust Crystal Soap by Leeloo soaps. This lovely scented soap is a dark green with sparkles inside. The smell is nice and I may use it as my next soap but it wasn’t book themed in my opinion.

The next item I absolutely love! I could not believe when I saw an actual umbrella in this box. Then the next surprise was the pattern being so many Harry Potter beasts I kept finding more and more creatures. From Scabbers to Fluffy I saw so many animals it made me so happy. I cant wait to use and show this bad boy off.

The following item was whispered about on the Owlcrate Instagram so I was prepared for a winter hat but not one so cute. My husband said, “Wow, imagine using that spell in a library.” Lol. The unicorns are also a great addition.

Then the item made by the wonderful fourseasonsfox. I followed her and was ecstatic to see this Haku keychain. Spirited Away is one of my favorite movies (Ghibli life) so seeing Haku brought me such happiness. But, I wasn’t happy with this being wasted on a keychain. So I separated the chain, superglued a thumbtack on the back, and added this lovely pin to my pin boards (shown above).

Ok so I gasped when I saw The Tea Dragon Society staring back at me. I follow Katie O’Neill and have had her graphic novels on my to-buy list forever. Seeing this book and the exclusive cover made me so happy. This was such a great addition and I hope they include more graphic novels in the future.

Next is the monthly pin that they now include. The clue to the book this month was phoenix so this “Official Phoenix Rider Club” pin is super adorable to pair with the novel. I also added this bad boy to the pin boards.

Finally, the novel you have been waiting for. Crown of Feathers written by Nicki Pau Preto. I am so happy they darkened the background in this exclusive cover. Not only that, the edges are sprayed purple which had my husband and I oggled over. We also got the letter from the author with a map on the back and a unique bookmark to pair with it.

And here we have all of the lovely items together. I am so beyond thrilled with this box. With a theme of  Whimsical Beasts it’s no wonder this box was so perfect. If you are thinking about getting any book box, I highly recommend this investment.

The next box’s theme will be Murder and Mayhem.
