[Monthly Reads] February Reviews

Back again with: Monthly Reads!

All of the reviews I’ve done in February summed up in to one easy post. Remember that reading slump we talked about last month? Yeah it kept going into this month. I read a total of six books but more like five and a half since I has already read half of ACOWAR last year.

Not only was my reading slump to blame but I also hosted my first giveaway! I met so many new people and I’m so happy you all are here for the ride. If you followed any of social media, I will be having plenty of other giveaway on there as well.

Amber and Dusk

Illuminae

Told through a series of recovered files, we follow Kady Grant and her ex-boyfriend Ezra Mason as they escape from their homeworld. Once aboard a fleet of ships, they catch word that something isn’t right. There are talks of a virus and the artifical intelligence aboard one of the ships isn’t responding to coding. It’s up to Kady Grant to figure out what is true within these rumors and how she can survive. Rating: 5/5 Stars

My book review

The Gilded Wolves

The Gilded Wolves stars five (almost six) unique characters who have found themselves in deeper trouble than they think. When the leader, Severin, finds a map that leads them to the legendary Horus Eye, the group learns they need to complete a series of heists in order to retrieve certain items. We follow Zofia, Laila, Enrique, and Tristan as they band together with Severin to steal the day. Rating: 4/5 Stars

My book review

A Court of Mist and Fury

This story revolves around Feyre and how she is adusting to life as not only a high fae but as Tamlin’s soon-to-be bride. She tries to come to terms with everything in the first book and to be honest you don’t miss much of you didn’t read it. Because of the deal with Rhysand, Feyre has to deal with him more than she wanted. Things change quickly and we begin a new less action packed story. Rating: 3/5 Stars

My book review

But what happens when one of those reds has powers like a silver? Rating: 4/5 Stars

We follow Lazlo Strange as he finally journeys to the place he has been obsessed with for how whole life. Once there, he finds people who are blue and who were apparently once considered gods to these people. But why were they erased from history, never to be heard of again? Rating: 3/5 Star
