Thank you to Endless Fairytales for this giveaway book!
I highly recommend watching the movie before reading the books. It gave me a lot more backstory and I felt more connected to the characters. Just a note: the movie does bleed over into the second book which I’ve never seen before.
We follow Lara Jean, a junior in high school who is finding her footing in life. Her big sister Margot is leaving for school and it’s now up to her to step up and take care of everything. Not only that but Lara Jean’s hatbox of love letters have mysteriously been mailed and now she has to deal with a mess bigger than anything before.
Oh No’s
That ending is the ultimate cliffhanger. I was really thrown that it would end in such a spot but I was planning on buying the rest of this series anyway. And, that is pretty much my only oh no!
Yay’s
I loved this novel. I am actually going to be annotating this novel and getting it signed by the author (hopefully). Definitely going to reread it and underline everything. The scenes were so vivid and heartwarming.
Peter is the cutest omg. I kind of ruined the third book because I NEED Peter and Lara Jean to be together. They are the cutest couple and they really get along so well. They’re constant pranks and play fights with each other really felt so real to me. They reminded me of me and my husband (corny sorry).
Finally,
I am in love with this book and the series now. I will continue on so please stay tuned for the rest of the novels. This is an adorable romance novel that will tickle your guilty pleasures.
My similar recommendation for this novel would be From Twinkle, With Love.

Haven’t read the book yet, but I loved the film, Lana Condor was amazing! And it’s nice to know that these true are a realistic couple!

I couldn’t decide which I preferred more out of the film and book! I actually preferred the sweetness of the characters in the film, but the book was much more realistic, haha

Agreed! I feel the movie did a great job portraying the characters but the book will be better since it has more depth and show more bonding and growth between Lara Jean and Peter ❤️❤️

Been meaning to give this either a read or watch, perhaps both. Must add it to the TBR. Nice review!
