Now presenting: The May Owlcrate box!
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Owlcrate is a monthly subscriptions box that runs for around $35 a month. Each month is a different theme and comes with a signed hardcover in every box. You will always get your money’s worth, it’s just a matter of what tastes you have.
Now, on to the Unboxing!
First up we have the Pillowcase! Based on one of V.E. Schwab‘s books. I added a travel filter to accentuate the travel. I also love the little Humpback on the bottom. This will be going on my guest pillow.
Next up we have a wonderfully soft Sleep Mask. Eye mask? Sleepy eye coverup? Whatever, the quote on the mask is of course one from A Court of Wings and Ruin. The mountains are gorgeous and honestly this is super plush. I cant wait to have to use it one day.
Please turn your attention to the next item we received. A Glass freaking water bottle! Although it’s literally the smallest water bottle I have ever seen, it’s so tiny in a good way! I’m always getting yelled at for my plastic water bottles so the more glass and metal ones I gain, the more I can throw out!
Ahhhhh this is probably my favorite picture! Do you see that Howls Moving Castle sticker!? First the Spirited Away keychain, now this. Owlcrate is making me so happy putting these Ghibli items in here. Howls Moving Castle is a book written by Dianna Wynn’s Jones and has two spin off books.
Next will be the Pin of the Month. Spoilers much? But yes, We Hunt the Flame is the name and Arabia is the game. With a picture of the world found within the page of the novel. I love the blues but I’m noticing that gold lining has been featured on a majority of the pins so I’m hoping that will change soon.
Now for what all of these items are found on. A passport wallet holder! Yeah it’s very thin though but apparently RFID resistant? So that’s good! Perhaps I will use this on my future travels this year. We will see.
Now for the book of the month! We have a wonderful tale by Hafsah Faizal Called We Hunt The Flame. I have been following the lovely on Twitter and she has been so amazing. She also posted a glossary which you can find in her review on Goodreads.
And I forgot to take a pic of all the items together. They are now in their rightful places all around my house and I am not about to go searching for them. To be honest I let loose this review so let me know what you think!
