[Unboxing] May ShelfLoveCrate

ShelfLoveCrate is a monthly subscriptions box that runs for around $40 a month. Each month is a different theme and comes with a signed hardcover in every box. I loved the fact that this box had two hardcovers and I loved the hardcovers so I purchased this but I am not a fan of the other items.

Now, on to the Unboxing!

First up is the wonderful water bottle. Another to add to my slowly disappearing collection (I seriously have no idea where all my bottles go). This is actually the coolest water bottle because there is a little insert inside kind of like on a coffee cup.  The quote on it obviously from Harry Potter which anyone can enjoy.

ShelfLoveCrate has their own unique item that is included in every box. These are the wonderful chess pieces. They depict the characters Kel and Lila from A Darker Shade of Magic. Now, I have not read this book so I don’w know who these people are but I can pretend that the red haired one is Lucien from ACOTAR.

Next up, we have this lovely pouch with a quote from The Chronicles of Narnia. I loved this series as a kid so I really like this pouch. Although I don’t really have a use for it now, I will be hoarding this for future uses. The description of this item is a Bookmark Keeper but…. I guess that could work.

I was so happy when I saw that we also got an enamel pin. You know, that is a pretty good item. You do indeed get your money’s worth with this box. The pin is of the lovely moth from Strange The Dreamer. I recently acquired the second book, Muse of Nightmares, and I think I’m gonna keep reading this series. Just to finish it. I’m already halfway in, you know?

Wow, we are on to the main reason why I bought this book box. This month they offered not one, but TWO hardcover books. Of course, I was interested but then I saw that the lovely Romanov by Nadine Brandes was going to be included and was super stoked to finally have a reason to get my hands on this book. This cover is Royal Blue as compared to the regular black.

And then we had a nice little item: A Ready Player One bookmark. There was a nice tassel on this as well. I have not read the book but can respect the art on this.

The most gorgeous alternative cover of We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal! My only complaint was that the cover was put on the other way. Like, I bought the box for this alternative cover. I then had to take my time precariously bending this cover onto the book. I feel I still didn’t even get it right. The final item is the bookmark [PRINT NOT INCLUDED IN BOX].

Now, I forgot to take a group photo of everything from the box but I was not very happy with the items included. I love, love, love the cover for We Hunt the flame but like I said I wish it had been put on this way.  This book box is definitely worth your money and if most of these items appeal to you, you should definitely hop on this!
