[Unboxing] June 2019 Owlcrate

Now presenting: The June Owlcrate box!
Theme
: Libraries of Wonder
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Owlcrate is a monthly subscriptions box that runs for around $35 a month. Each month is a different theme and comes with a signed hardcover in every box. You will always get your money’s worth, it’s just a matter of what tastes you have.

Now, on to the Unboxing!

The first item in this box was actually revealed quite early on. The BookBeau coffee brew was hinted at in the last box. Although I was under the impression that it was an assortment of coffee types but no matter. Either way, I hate coffee so this is automatically put in the regift pile.

The next item came in a small box but I was able to guess them. I did not guess the amazing quotes and art that was on these beautiful coasters though! I am so happy to have these to hoard for the future.

We finally had a non-circular Book of the Month enamel pin! And it is adorably pastel with a cat and books oh my god I am so happy. This went right up on my pin board.

This wonderful tote bag features a quote from Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. This is the exact same type of bag they sent in a previous box. They did Caravel and I love love love that bag. Even though I have at least a million tote bags, this will gladly join the collection.

Now this next item is something I was so excited for! This was hinted at as a Chronicles of Narnia item and here are the wonderful Bookends. Featuring the iconic lamppost Mr. Thomas was found by. I put this on my brightest yellow book to accentuate this.

The next item was kind of random but I guess it alludes to “unlocking” the secrets of the library? Here we got a Key Gel Pen. Yup, that’s about it.

NOW ON TO THE BEST SURPRISE EVER! An exclusive purple tinted signed hardcover copy of Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson! I could not believe that this was the Book of the Month. I had never read the summary of this book (I don’t tend to normally) and was so surprised to find this staring up at me. I was actually going to get the authors autograph and Bookcon but couldn’t fit it into my schedule.

And that’s all she wrote! The price of all these itmes definitely is double that of what you pay. I would suggest this book box to be your first and only if you every try it. Its the most afforable and worth the price in my opinion. All of the4se ttems did kind of stay on theme? I;ve seen better boxes by them but this is still up there.

What did you think of your Owlcrate this month? Are you thinking of getting one if you haven’t?

  1. That purple SoT cover is so beautiful! What an amazing surprise! And I also love your Strange the Dreamer tote bag – I’m currently reading Muse of Nightmares and I’m enjoying it so much!

I’ve always wanted to get an Owlcrate box, but it always seems so expensive… hopefully I will try to get one soon!

    1. I have Muse on my TBR cart but oh goodness is it a thicc one! Honestly, I could not afford this box until last year but I was patient till I had money. I want another box but I can’t afford any others so this is my only happiness except for ones that I’m gifted or splurge single purchases for!
