This should really be called Swipe Right For Gay Murder. I would’ve read it even sooner if I had known! Everything is LGBT positive and it was quite a different mystery crime novel.

We follow our main character Aidan as he meets up with his internet hookup only to have things spiral horribly out of control. Now he is on the run and not even his family is safe. But what is he, a high school kid, supposed to do when people everywhere are trying to kill him??

Oh No’s

The plot is definitely predictable but all crime novels are. That being said, it is fairly easy to see where this novel is going with the constant Let’s just call the police being denied over and over. The twists are also predictable but very good.

The LGBTQ representation was amazing and everywhere. From start to finish and from good to bad guys. Heck, even the plot and situations all surround the LGBTQ community and draws light on what they have been through.

If you are looking for a run of the mill crime mystery novel with a (gay) twist then look no further. This piqued my interest and I hope it piques yours.

My similar recommendation for this novel would be Two Days Gone by Randall Silvia.

Then who did?”
