[Unboxing] November 2019 Owlcrate

Now presenting: The November Owlcrate box!
: Through the Enchanted Forest
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Owlcrate is a monthly subscriptions box that runs for around $35 a month. Each month is a different theme and comes with a signed hardcover in every box. You will always get your money’s worth, it’s just a matter of what tastes you have.

Now, on to the Unboxing!

First up, we have the amazing wooden Christmas ornament. This seems to be a yearly item for Owlcrate and I am just ecstatic to be able to increase my ornament collection. The wood is definitely thick and a high quality this year and actually looks quite cute.

Next, this is the item that was not only hinted but also an annual item included in Owlcrate. This is the Reading Journal. Complete with unfilled monthly and weekly calendars, book reviews, TBRs, favorite quotes, and wrap up pages. I’ve already begun using mine!

Also included was a duo sticker sheet for those new planners. How adorable are those Owlcrate stickers? And the mystical wood theme really seems to shine as well.

To the left, please take a look at this thick metal bookmark for all your anti-puppy-chewing needs. Complete with a great quote from Uprooted by Naomi Novik (love her).

Now it’s time for my favorite item in this entire box.

The amazingly soft blanket inspired by The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. I am in love with this soft pastel throw blanket. It’s just an inch shorter than my other blankets but it makes up for it in softness.

Below you will see a quote card from The Dawn and the Dusk sequel. I was not a fan of the first book so this was kind of lost on me. I also feel like it did not fit in with the theme but I do enjoy the advertisement of new books

Finally, we have the Pin of the Month. I assume this is inspired by the book of the month but I am loving this shape and the moth on it. Just adorable!

On to the moment you all have been waiting for!

The Book of the Month!

This month’s book is Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw. Now I absolutely hate the original dark blue cover. Seeing this shiny white cover complete with sprayed blue edges just made me fall in love with this book. I am definitely a person who picks a book based on its cover so this new cover really stunned me.

Altogether, this was such a nice box. It mostly stayed true to the theme but made up for it by the uniqueness and quality of the items.

    1. Thank you! Yeah I looked at my blog when I got back from vacation and vocally said ew so I had to change it 😂😂 I love this simple theme. I just need to add a few color accents and it’s done!

  1. I like the white cover much more too! I saw the white one first when I opened my box, and then I saw the blue version on Instagram later and thought “ew! So glad I have OwlCrate.”
