Title: Nevernight

Genre: New Adult,
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

One of my top reads of the year!

Mia Corvere knows darkness, she knows it quite well. When she is finally told by her master that she must go on to train with the, Mia will go on a journey she will never expect. This wonderful novel shows the life of killers in training and how they learn their craft.

Oh No’s

This book is LONG. Get ready for this long yet pleasantly entertaining read. It took me around a week of constant, obsessive reading to finish this thicc boi but it was so worth it. I ended up binging the second half in one day.

This is definitely New Adult not Young Adult . TW: Very descriptive sex, multiple deaths, blood swimming. If none of these things bother you, this book will be a great read for you!

Yay’s

This book has amazing story telling and the perfect use of words on the paper. I loved the dimensions shown within the characters and the intricacy of the story. Every twist and turn threw me for a loop and I went into this book quite blind. It was a roller coaster of emotions the entire time and I enjoyed every second.

Finally,

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. The pacing, writing, and story were so great and it was nice to read such a good fleshed out novel. This could work as a stand-alone but it is a series so do prepare for more.

My similar recommendation for this novel would be The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang.
